Lauded as having an excellent taste in music selection, Javi maintains that what comes out from behind his decks is no more than a phonetic representation of what music means to him. 
Impeccable technique allows him to use and mix a wide diversity of styles, effectively creating a new sound and his own language. With this language he aims to communicate a story- a story people can relate to but most importantly, a story people can dance to.

Considered an authentic music talent or maybe just a freak? Javi has been constantly immersed and surrounded by music from a small child and started Djing at 15 years old. Born and raised in Cordoba within a culture of folkloric Spanish rhythm he moved to Madrid after working for Virgin records. 

Today he is resident DJ and Artistic Director of Charada Club, Madrid. Through this position he is in constant contact with the most innovative and celebrated artists of this age. 

In early 2011 Javi will inaugurate a new resident session at Charada - SPORT. Sport will serve as a platform where he will continue to experiment, a place where innovation is the foremost priority, creating new sound, a new music culture and exploring new ways to share this with the public.
